Each research group provides a dedicated daily work space, new computer and individual desk for the duration of the PhD, within a supportive and collaborative community of other PhD researchers in similar fields. There are additional communal spaces for group meetings.

PhD Research Labs are designed for the focus of the individual research group and are fully appointed with world-class equipment and facilities

  • Southampton Wireless Research Group and Electronic and Software Systems Research Group
  • Facilities: 50-strong Linux cluster; Holographic display for wireless video research, meeting rooms, breakout space, kitchens
