Apply for a Bursary: We have a number of bursaries to offer which are primarily aimed at postgraduate students. A limited number of these will be specifically for postgraduate students or junior academics from less developed countries. These are sponsored by the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) under Grant Number EP/F013604/1, the World Wide Web Foundation and the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Each bursary is for 500 Euros and will be paid to the successful applicants in the form of a cheque at the Conference. Applicants will also be able to register at the early registration rate. Successful applicants will be required to submit a 1-page trip report about the Conference by 20 April 2009. The deadline for applications is Friday 20 February and should be sent to Susan Davies at sdd@ecs.soton.ac.uk. All applicants will be notified by Wednesday 25 February.
